Before i even knew it, two weeks have passed since my last post. Time really flies. I totally have no idea how long it was between my post as i been pretty busy lately.

Time is never enough and it's always very difficult to fully utilize your time. No one can work 24hours a day. Different people have different rest norm and different hours of slp required. I personally requires 8hrs of slp in order to feel energetic.

Can you tell the difference between a home and a house? It may seems to be the same to you but it's actually very different. It's usually the same place and you have your home in your house. However, there are a lot of people living in a house but having no home. Think of the homeless! They may be living in a shelter but they have no body to turn to and no body to care for.

If your home and your house is in the same place, you should feel very fortunate and be very happy that you are where you are now. Harmony is really the key to a house you can call home. If there's argument every day, then you won't want to go back home. Home should be the place you want to go back to after a long day at work. A place where you can relax and enjoy yourself. A place where you feel safe and secure.

If you have not found such a place yet! Don't be discourage! As long as you keep finding, you will find the best home in your life.

It has been a shock to see the PR3 of this site gone. I wonder how did it happen? What is the criteria this time for getting my blog out of the PR3 rank? Is it because there's nobody coming here? Or is it because the links to this site is gone? I think it's probably because other sites that used to link to me are now not linking to me any more.

I need to get myself re-linked back from those site and maybe get more people linking to me site. I need more PR3 and above site linking to me in order to get my PR back. It's going to be back to square one when this blog just started and slowly building up all the links before i can get my PR back.

I wonder if any one else is suffering from a lost PR?

Today, this is going to be a nonsense post just talking about the clear blue sky. Why is the sky blue? The scientific answers is that the sky absorb the rest of the colour and only reflects blue colour and thus, you see the sky as blue in colour. The less scientific answer is because god decided that the sky must be blue.

However, the sky is not always blue, sometimes it's orange in colour in the evening as the sun is setting. All these just means one thing. The question is very subjective. There's no right or wrong answer. All answers are correct and it rest upon the listen to choose what to believe.

The world is often working in the same way. Engineers always think that there's only right or wrong in the world but actually, many things does not have a definite yes or no. Depending on situation, the answer will be different. So, instead of trying to change the world into your better place, why not make accept that the world is imperfect and live your life to your fullest.

The middle of the year is the best time for you to start writing your newsletter and getting it published. After 6 months, you should have a lot of events to write about. Wow ... this blog has successfully posted 200 posts!! I have no idea how i did it but i manage to write 200 posts. I have no idea i can write so much.. but still, i did it! .. Hurray!! Time for celebrations!!! Cheers!!

Actually, writing a post is very easy, you just think of what you have done for the day and write about it. You can even write about writing nothing at all.. :) I find it pretty amazing..

For example, now i am writing because this blog has reached 200 posts. I can even write and brag about reaching every 50 additional post. But i guess that is a bit too much and irriating.. :) So 100 posts is a good figure to brag about :P

The real target i am actually looking at is 1000 posts. After that, 10,000 post.... maybe .. it will even reach 1 Million Post. Haha .. i have started to day dream.

Yea yea yea!!! .. This site alexa ranking have been increased to 178k. Although it's a real slow crawl nowadays ... at least it is still increasing upwards and slowly inching up the ranking ladder. Most of the traffic are still coming in form entrecard and i am very glad that i joined entrecard from the start and have a fast loading time so there are people dropping in to drop a card everyday.

The next most common traffic comes from google search engine when people found my related post and click on the link in google. Thus, writing a good post and getting people from google should be another good way to get traffic.

While surfing the net, i came across another website's attempt to monetize the internet. They are offering $0.01 for viewing advertisers website for 30 seconds. Advertisers are charged $19.10 for 1000 views. So, the site is earning $0.0191 per view. Subtracting the $0.01 they are give you, the site is actually earning $0.0091. Wait a minute! How about referrals? For each referrals viewing the 30s site, they are paying an additional $0.01. So effectively, for each view, the website is paying $0.02; subtracting the $0.0191 per view, the site is making a loss of $0.0009.

There's also the premium membership @ $59 per year. With a guaranteed 20 ads per day, $0.25/pay times 365 days gives you, $91.25. Thus, if you click everyday, you will get back $32.25. A pretty low return isn't it. The amount will increase exponential if your referrals are increasing exponentially. Hmm .. can the site survive?

Probably, the site is earning from some other tie-up with alertpay. The referral program from alerypay is paying up to $10 for referrals who transacts(sending/receiving) $250 online. So probably, bux.to is waiting for their members to transact up to $250 to get the $10 referrals. Now, that would be a substantial amount that could cover the $0.0009 loss per page view.

The selling of unrefereed members could also be earning the site money. These members might or might not be surfing the ads. Thus, the risks is transfered to the buyers. If they are active members, the buyer will rejoice but if they are not. The buyers could only bang their head.

Probably, the site is surviving in the short term as since they are paying you $0.01 for 30s of your time. I think it's pretty worthwhile to sign up for it and refer to your friends.

In the latest update from alexa, this blog has increased its ranking from 300K to 200K ... wow .. that's an improvement of 100K. I wonder if there's really more readers reading my blog now? Cause i don't see much comments from my readers base. Maybe my posts are too boring to be worth commenting. Any way, writing blog every day really gets my brain working by forcing myself to think of a new idea everyday. This keeps my brain going and now, i can generate an idea to blog about pretty quickly.

Maybe it's time to force myself to write two original post a day to get my brain working more. :) Till then, look out for my daily dose of rumblings.

Ever thought of buying or renting a DVD but ended up not watching at all? It's a very common problem. The cost of renting a DVD sometimes most of the time does not warrants a purchase of the same DVD. However, in some cases, renting the DVD might cost more than buying one.

Remember my previous post about facebook app? I wanted to get started in creating one but it didn't happen. The only app i did was the tutorial demo application which is a very simple "Hello World" application.

There's so many things facebook api can do but there's not much idea i can come up with to build an app. I wonder how others came up with so many innovative ideas. How should i get started in generating ideas?

Maybe i should start a post on ideas. Maybe that'll work. :P

Ever heard of writers' block? Every writer encounter this blocking every now and then where creative juices runs dry and there's nothing to write about. However, with blogging, even without ideas, you can still blog. Cause you can talk about why you are having this block, like now.

I have no idea what to write before i begin this post and thus, this idea came into my head. To talk about writer's block. Usually writers overcome it by visiting new places, and experiencing new things. Blogger on the other hand does it by blogging about writer's block. Interesting, isn't it?

Just by writing about writer's block, i can add another 100 words to my list of posts. That's the benefit of blogging. The ability to write about the inability to write. :)

I went for a toastmasters speech and table topics competition this evening. It's a good experience listening to the best in the club compete for the chance to represent the club in the division competition. The topics were interesting and the speakers speaks very well.

However, there wasn't much audience and there's no crowd to bring up the atmosphere. I wonder if the lacklust response is due to poor publicity or poor members involvment?

How can we encourage more members turn up for the competition? Unless they are self-motivated, we will have to come up with different ways and method to bring in the crowd. Publicity is very important and i think a dedicated publicity officer for the event would be able to work wonders in getting members excited about the competition and want to attend.
